"Send to" is greyed out. Until version 2.0.0.21 Thunderbird works. In version 2.0.0.22 MapiSendMail returns MAPI_E_FAILURE. I installed version 2.0.0.21 again and now MapiSendMail works again.

With a very high propability it's a graphics being used in the signature. We had the same issue with a customer using W7 64bit and Office 2010, suddenly MAPI failure. As soon as I disabled the signature it was back working!
The most common causes of a MAPI type error with Thunderbird are that Thunderbird is not set as the default e-mail program in Windows, or your personal account is not set as the default account in Thunderbird, or some other email program in Windows is interfering with MAPI connections to Thunderbird. I will try that.

* No Antivirus or Firewall software is running. But still Sage 50 still brings up the error message. Anyth You'll have to set up your email software as the default MAPI server. In Outlook use Tools / Options / Make Default.
